How can I beat Halo 3 and Halo 3 ODST on Legendary diffculty?

I’ve been playing for hours and only got through the first level of Halo 3 and haven’t got to ODST yet. Any ideas?

Just get 3 more people to play co-op with you and it will be easy.
Yeah dude i just got another friend and kep playing and playing until we beat it on legendary.
Get someone who is good at halo to play with you.
Use the BR, until you reach the flood at least for Halo 3… And stay back and try to pick them off one by one. It will take longer but you won’t die very often.
I haven’t beat ODST yet but I would use the pistol for grunts and jackals, then when brutes come havbe a plasma pistol to get rid of their shields then punch them.
I beat Halo 3 on Legendary all by myself
beat it with a hammer, done.
all about team mates and takign it slow i beat halo 3 in 4 hours on legendary with friends and i finished odst in 5 hours on legendary with only 3 people including myself!..its easy..have fun stay back and rape
Id advise getting a bunch of 4 players to go through it, so much easier. As long as ones out of combat zone you’ll respawn.
Come to think of it I need to get a band of merry men to do the last parts of ODST with me on Legendary.
